Dumfries and Galloway Poverty and Inequalities Partnership have a dedicated sub group 1 whose objective is to 'tackle severe poverty and destitution, particularly food insecurity, in Dumfries and Galloway.'
Projects like Stepping Stones Community Larder in Castle Douglas, Kate's Kitchen in Annan, and the Fed Up Cafe in Stranraer are providing fantastic services to the local community, providing quality, affordable and healthy food.
These projects are supported by the D&G Food Providers Network, and the D&G Community Food Network.
