Castlemilk and Corrie Estate took a number of farms back in hand, and started this year with a new herd of Luing Cattle and a new herd of Castlemilk Moorit sheep - using a regenerative farming system
The Ethical Dairy is based on Rainton Farm - the cow with calf, regenerative dairy farm, run by David and Wilma Finlay. They use the farm’s milk and traditional methods, to produce a range of 10 different organic cheeses
Glenquicken Farm is a cluster of family run enterprises which includes Glenquicken Game Meats. They aim to run a low input system and sell products direct to customer.
Torr Farm is an organic dairy near Auchencairn. The family produce a quality product that is available via milk vending machines at Auchencairn Store and Earth's Crust in Caste Douglas.
Baile Curraich is a farm near Dalbeattie where Luke and Franics are committed to farming with nature. They produce high quality pork and beef which is available locally, and through the Glenkens Food Hub.
